On October 3rd in NYC there was a monumental occurance, which saw the "hottest"acts in NYC all share one stage in a peaceful and entertainingly unified manner. Put togehter by 50 Cent and local station Hot 97; the event was so successful that 50 is rumored to be considering taken the show on the road...In response, 50 had this to say:
"I had to touch base with everyone and everybody saw how it made sense to get together and make some real money," Fif said about his ThisIs50 Fest. "And then artists influenced other artists to join...A lot of the artists out here tonight deserve to be on a regular Summer Jam bill, but we have to make our own Summer Jam because they [radio stations] are not recognizing their [new rappers'] material."
