To use the term disappointment might be an understatement in this instance. So many things to me were subpar about the awards that it reinforced my opinion that BET is on a downslide. For some reason it seems as if they believe they can provide us with anything as far as programming is concerned and we will be none the wiser. Not only does this pertain to the awards but the standard programs as well. Reality TV has gotten out of hand and BET has purchased a membership in the that's what's wrong with reality TV section. Tiny and ToyaI can anybody tell me what are these two ladies' significance that garners a TV show. Did we not get enough with Neffi? Harlem Heights was watered down, College Hill is not on many peoples must see list, and the only program centralized on music videos caters to those whom can barely operate a vehicle or vote; Now I am far from critical under normal circumstances but enough is enough. What happened to the good old days when BET was a hallmark. Our answer to everything else; seems as though they have ostracized us as well.
