New York Housewife Bethany Frankel, whom blogs for E! recently went on record giving her opinions of the Atlanta version and its characters. Although she did have some decent things to say about certain people, i.e. Kandi's ability to see things for herself and not play follow the leader an inherit the other ladies' opinions of each other...She described Nene as a diva- loving the lifestyle and taking full advantage whenever she can to flaunt it all; In her words Lisa is trying to be too perfect- which ultimately makes her boring. She says Kim is lackadasical and unaware of whom she really is. To top the cake off with icing she goes on to call the ladies ghetto:
"Kandi said that NeNe is the "ghettoist" of them all. The grammar is gorgeous. Lisa, when referring to Kim, said: Kim's been lying on me (meaning lying about me). Lisa, if Kim were "lying on you," you would know it because those airbags might suffocate you. Plus, you'd be buying her a pave diamond bangle the next day in return."
In my opinion the show is missing some of that fire that kept myself and others glued to the screen last season...This season seems to be about more about personal growth instead of entertainment- which is what showbiz is about..Yes, we love to see well rounded people, but we want them in action. Controversy sells, need I say more....I would love to get the UK perspective, do u guys buy into Reality TV and furthermore, Real Housewives. Over here its an addiction.
