Far be it for the ever-controversial 50 cent to not take a good stab at drama when it is ripe. We all know about the current dispute aka "taking my brother in the back yard for 5 minutes" that is going on between Jay Z and Beanie Sigel. Sad to say the least, but amusing and maybe even good for hip hop. Friction creates sparks, and sparks add to good music- check 50 Cents entire career. With that being said, 50 chimed in with his take on the situation as he stopped by Power 99 in Philly on Miss Jones' morning show today and had this to say,
“He [Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over,” 50 Cent told Miss Jones. “Jay was telling him that he didn’t want to lose him. I think Jay and Puffy had these feelings toward me at one point I believe. “They didn’t want to lose anything to me, while their energy was going on. Puff didn’t want to sign the Mase deal and Jay didn’t want to do that,”
This confirms Beans' allegations that Jay Z stopped him from making power moves had he let him off Roc A Fella Records. If thats true I think thats kind of messed, Jay should always want for his brother what he wants for himself- money and success. When its all said and done the truth will come out- Hov has a valid point as well- sides cannot be chosen as of yet.
