End to the beef

Shawty Lo, Carlos Walker, is currently working on his next album. I Am Carlos, an audio autobiography, is scheduled to be released in spring 2010. A previously-leaked joint that Lo revealed will not be on I Am Carlos is “Roll the Dice.” Released early in ’09, the track is Shawty Lo’s explanation of how his highly-publicized beef with T.I. came about, and how Lo is being “the bigger man” and pledging to end the beef. “Roll The Dice” was recorded following Lo and Tip’s camps collision at last year’s Dirty Awards in Atlanta. Afterwards, the two Bankhead natives decided to speak in an attempt to end their dispute.

“Me and Tip, we talked for about 15 minutes on November 24th [2008],” said Shawty Lo of that altercation. “And we just came to a conclusion [that] it ain’t need to go no further. Basically, it’s over with. Homie be home next year. Free Tip.” Lo explained, “[T.I.’s] last show [before beginning his jail sentence] at Club Crucial I came out and showed – What better place to do it [than] on Bankhead, and show in front of our peoples [that the beef was squashed]? I came on stage, the people saluted and they went crazy.”(Courtesy of dimewars.com)

Im glad to see these two get over it, and it couldnt be at a better time- no need to take a shot at a man when he is already down. Thats a good look on Lo's part being a stand up dude. I wanna see everybody get more money. Shout out to anyone I ever had an issue with. lets get it back into perspective, and I encourage you all to do the same- life is too short, cliche but true. lets do better this time around.
