RIP DJ AM

I was in NYC when this story broke and only heard it in passing on 106 and Park and thought they couldn't possibly be talking about THE DJ AM. Sadly it's true and I know, again, I'm late with this but

Nike Stops Air AM's

As a result of the very tragic and controversial death of DJ Am, Nike has put a halt to plans to manufacture a new pair of Dunks with AM's own logo on it. An avid sneaker wearer. AM reportedly has amassed over 700 pairs of Nike's and was on deck to release a line. Nike gives lack of knowing how to maket the sneaker as the reason, but you and I know publicity is not the best surrounding the entire ordeal right now, and sales could take a big hit; so why rush when you could let the storm pass and see how the public reacts. Time heals all wounds they say.
