I read a quote this morning which said, " A good father teaches their children by example" and I must say that is the truth if i ever heard it; So in the spirit of the forthcoming FATHER's DAY I was trying to find an example of someone who personifies that quote, not just in words, but in action.
If there ever was one, here it is:
For his daughter's 16th birtday, music industry veteran/ co-founding member of super-duo Outkast, Big Boi presented his daughter with one of the greatest gifts ever, a record label. Now to the naked eye the significance may not be so clear, but to me this move speaks volumes. Yes we all love to present our kids with biks, toys, video games, and in my case barbie dolls and pizza parties at school; but how great would it be to present my little mama with a way to live out her dreams- a way to be a BOSS. I cannot imagine anything being near that feeling.
