lol oh and we mustn't forget the buy one get one free at Pizza Express...better than a kick in the teeth hey?

Anyhoo, yesterday the LxEnts team went on down to catch the new Danny Dyer and Noel Clarke movie 'Doghouse'. In one word - 'Genius'!

'Doghouse is centred around a group of mates having a 'lad's weekend away' in order to cheer up one of the guys who is in the midst of a painful divorce. Mikey (played by Clarke) decides they should go to a town called 'Moodley' known for being, quite frankly a 'shit hole' as his nan has a house there and will be away for 2 weeks. From the moment the lads arrive, it's quite clear there is something seriously wrong with this place. What do you know? It's the 'women'. Cue zombie, axe-wielding, man-hating women, blood, guts, gore and laughs for the next hour and thirty mins!

Directed by Jake West and written by Dan Schaffer, the comedic timing and irony throughout the film is nothing short of perfect. The chemistry between the actors is honest and Dyer proves that he is more than capable of stepping away from the 'East End Gangster role' to play an arrogant yet loveable scallywag who gets whats coming to him more than once yet still never really learns his lesson.

Doghouse HAS to be experienced on the big screen to be enjoyed to its maximum potential. This has got to be the first movie I've seen, period, where shouting out loud at the screen is totally acceptable and laughter isn't just a lousy attempt to show you got the joke!

Doghouse gets 5 Lynx out of 5 for being thoroughly entertaining!
